I ran into my elementary school principal Thursday night at Art Walk. His art work was all over the walls of a gallery: beautiful Dia de los Muertos prints. It was so awesome! He remembered me a lot. I was so happy.He told me how to locate Mr. Martin, my 5th & 6th grade teacher. Mr. Martin was quite an inspiration to me; he's part of the reason I went into teaching. I found him the next day at the district office and had a few minutes to chat and reminisce. What a treat!
